    • 1) Cemetery record. Saline Observer obituary. I think Sidney is son of Samuel, also buried same cemetery. Samuel, in turn, I think is son of James (who married Margaret Greene) son of Jonathan. Each needs verification. Sidney was in Civil War, Co G, 4th Mich Inf, per obituary & Cem record. Buried in "Mrs. Pickle lot" also "Mrs. Lorenzo Haight's lot. Died of head injuries falling down saloon stairs. It's a pathetic obituary. From Military Index, US Archives: Sidney S. Tripp, Co G, 4th Mich Inf and Co C, 4th Mich Inf.
