In 1850, he was in Griffin's District Pitt County North Carolina. 2. Died intestate; Bryant Tripp administrator; $500 Caleb B. Tripp, security. Occupation: 1850, Farmer (Source 1850 Census) from Janus Tripp Gurganus. Remarried to a Tyson who died before 1850. In 1880 census, Allie Tyson was living with her son William Henry Tripp (1880 census) and is shown to be 76 years old. Note: The ages of the oldest children suggest the possibility that Allie was a second wife. That might explain why only the younger, William Henry, moved with Allie by 1850.
