  3/2024-CD: This Abigail is NOT the Abigail E Thurston who died 28 May 1851. The news item of the latter's death said she was the widow of Wm. Thurston. According to Margaret Bock's book, Descendants of John Tripp of Portsmouth, our Abigail was born 15 Nov 1782 in NY and died in 1850. Her spouse was John Thurston who died after her on 10 Mar 1853. David Thurston may be one of their children but, if so, he has been linked to the wrong mother on Findagrave.
