Services for Ida Tripp Cook Jordan, 76, of 651 Strange Road will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Thomas McAfee Funeral home of Greenville SC, Downtown Chapel, with burial in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Jordan, wife of the late Edwin Eugene Jordan, died Monday March 22, 1993. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Mamie Campbell Tripp. A Former resident of Great Falls, she retired from J. P. Stevens Republic 3 Plant of Great Falls and was a member of Bushy Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mildred Kinsbury of Taylors and Marilyn Foster of San Jose', California; sons Michael Cook of Greenville and Lawrence Cook of Taylors; sisters Kate Harbin and Sara Tollison, both of Greenville; a brother Louis Tripp of Pensacola, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
