Notes - Henry Lewis Tripp was born in Anderson Co. age 85. He was a carpenter and he served in the Spanish American War and served his country well. He served under Joseph K. Alston Camp 7. He lived off Augusta road in the Moonville section. And spent his early life there.Then he moved to Greenville with his children. He had 9 children. Mr Tripp was first married to Alma Freeman. from that union was Junius Tripp. Henry Lewis Tripp and Mamie Campbell survived by his five Daughters as follows: Mrs.Sue Blackley of Greenville S.C., Mrs Kate Harbin Jr. of Greenville S.C., Mrs Guy W. Cook of Great Falls, Mrs C.P.Foster of Augusta, and Ms. Sarah Ford of Greenville S.C. Three sons as follows: ST.Sgt Harry Lewis Tripp Sr., Emory A Trippp, and Billy Joe Tripp. He is also survived by one brother: William Tripp of fork shoals Anderson S.C., 19 grand children and 3 great grand children.
