    • !1)She was a member of the Tyre Reformed Church. She came to Seneca Falls with her parents in 1860 in a prairie schooner hauled by a team of oxen. She lived for 65 years in Seneca Falls. 2)She died at the home of her son, J. Frank Stevenson in Tyre, six miles north of Seneca Falls, NY. The funeral was held at the home of her son at 2:00 pm on Monday afternoon. She was born in Highland-on-the-Hudson. 3)PLT Archives, Vol TV15 IM4, p. 53, a letter to Frank from Nellie Barrett, writteen in 1953 states, "I have been looking over my phots and among them I found this one of your mother - two of the twins. I know they would be destroyed after my passing, so am sending them on to you. The twins and their children I know will like to have them. I see you mothers was taken in "1905", the year I was married. How well I remember the babies in "97", when I was a kid of 13 years. I ahve been having a spell of low blood pressure, better now, so thankful to be here so some one can care for me. Wesley Armitages wife died 74 this last week. Wesley will be 76 in Sept.
