  • Notes

    • !1)Per Joanne Fettig Crump, letter in my possession, dated 3/17/87, she cites a Thomas Crump, born canada, 1827, and gives his father, Henry, brothers henry, John(Thomas'twin), Daniel 8/6/1829, Jane, Robert, Hugh, Mary ann (Blackmore?). Henry (the son) and Thomas were in Civil War! 2)Research in National Archives would likely turn up good stuff. 3)Civil War, Thomas, Michigan 7th Inf, Co H, Feb 29, 1864, for three years, at age 36. Mustered Feb 29, wounded in action May 6, '64; discharged Washington DC July 7, 1865. Also wounded May 31, 1864, at Meadow Run, Va. His twin brother, Henry, wounded at Cold Harbor. Henry was Co I.; per Glade Crump, October, 1990,
