    • !1)E. McLalin states: "Nellie was the first white child born in van Buren county" per PLT ARCHIVES V23. 2) The family group sheet of Perry Tripp (IM2 TV1.5 PLT Archives) states the marriage date of Lincoln E. Delano and Nellie Augusta Tripp to be 31 Mar 1902. this would make Nellie age 38 and Lincoln age 42. It appears that the 1883 date is more probable. This needs verification.
