Bayard, Seneca Falls, NY 2) p107, 1876 History of Seneca County, says "Prior to 1810, the only houses in the Spring Brook (Seneca Falls Township) neighborhood were . . . (others, along with) Edward Compsen at the brook". 3) I see from earlier ordinance dates that someone in the church is connected with this family. Maybe Edward had a child or two join.
