Other references, perhaps to his son James, include 1863, later 1871, Pres of Village of Waterloo. 11)He came to America when "father was 4 years old", per page 469, Seneca & Schuyler Co Hist, 1895, notes PLT ARCHIVES, V17. This "father" was Gawin. James came with wife, 2 children, located in Schohare Co, later arrived at Junius. 12)His will, per research of Chas Quick, now in per PLT ARCHIVES, V21, names children. 13)BYU film 812842, Waterloo Library, gives obituary, p16: "d 30 Sep 1850, emigrated from Ireland 1798. moved to Seneca Co 1812, after living in Albany and later Schoharie Co. 9 survived him. per PLT ARCHIVES, V21. 14)The obituary of his daughter Sarah Watson Wheeler states that she was the survivor of three brothers and seven sisters.
