  William Henry Harrison Tripp is my 1st Great Granduncle. William Henry Harrison fought with the Confederate Army from 1961 to 1865 when he deserted near Poducah, Kentucky. The area that he deserted from was only about 60-70 miles from his home where his brothers Zacheus and David were. He farmed with them in 1860, then after the Civil War again in 1866, 1867 and 1868. We have been unable to find either William Henry Harrison Tripp or Zacheus Lester Tripp since. We know that Zacheus died in 1880, according to an entry in the family bible kept by his sister Mary Tripp Springer. We do not know where, however. Zacheus raised his sister Caroline Tripp Burris' son James Wilton Burris who found a wife in Arkansas, then returned to Kentucty, then Tennessee.
